Green Party

Card-carrying Green Party members in the Sudbury riding will vote on a federal candidate Monday night at a nomination meeting.

Only Laurentian University Economics Professor, David Robinson, has thrown his name in to the ring to represent the party in either a by-election or a federal election in the fall.

The meeting is set for Monday at 6pm at ReThink Green on Larch Street.

Robinson was the Green Party candidate in Sudbury recent provincial by-election, coming in fourth.

Along with Robinson’s name the ballot will also offer “none of the above” for party members to choose from.

The Sudbury Conservatives have chosen Fred Slade as their candidate, the Liberals will pick their candidate March 28th and the New Democrats have yet to announce a nomination meeting.
