***Hailee has the perfect record deal***
Less than a week after Hailee Steinfeld made her singing debut in “Pitch Perfect 2″, the actress has signed a deal with Republic Records.
“The moment that we met Hailee we found her commitment to music inspiring,” Republic Records executive vice president Charlie Walk tells Billboard. “She has the vision, natural talent and dedication to compete at the highest level. We are thrilled to be a part of her musical journey.” The Oscar-nominated actress is currently working on her debut release with producers including Captain Cuts, Harvey Mason and The Futuristics. Here’s to hoping she also collaborates with her famous pal Taylor Swift.

***Clooney’s latest movie is out this weekend***
“Tomorrowland” stars George Clooney as Frank, a former boy-genius jaded by dillusionment until he meets an optimistic teen named Casey, played by Britt Robertson. Together, they embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.”
The film also stars Hugh Laurie and Kathryn Hahn.

Yahoo Tech reports that Unicode, the group that creates all of your beloved emojis, has released a list of 38 new images that it plans on rolling out in 2016.
For those of you who prefer pixels over words, the emojis you will be able to add to your text exchanges starting next year include, Clinking glasses, Black Heart, Croissant, Avocado, Cucumber, Bacon, Potato, Carrot, Fox face, Eagle, Duck, Bat, Shark(!) and of course, Owl.
