Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have allegedly called it quits after nearly a year and a half together.
Us Weekly reports that Theron, 39, decided to call off her engagement to 54-year-old Penn following their recent trip to the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The couple, who got secretly engaged in Paris last December, had known each other for decades as friends before things took a romantic turn.
Penn was previously married to both Madonna and Robin Wright. While Theron has yet to tie the knot, she was previously in a relationship with actor Stuart Townsend from 2001-2010.

The Hollywood Reporter claims Donald Trump may have hired actors to attend and cheer for him at his Presidential campaign kickoff.
A New York casting company allegedly sent an email to actors that read: “We are looking to cast people for the event to wear t-shirts and carry signs and help cheer him in support of his announcement. We understand this is not a traditional ‘background job,’ but we believe acting comes in all forms and this is inclusive of that school of thought.”
The actors were reportedly paid $50. The casting company is now saying: “We don’t know anything about that.”

Nichole Moore says she was kicked out of a psychiatrist’s office after she began breastfeeding her 8-month-old daughter during an appointment.
“He said that by me nursing her, I wouldn’t be giving him my full attention,” themother explained. “I said, ‘Are you kidding me?!’ I can do both, and I told him that I’ve never had an issue multi-tasking in any appointment ever!”
