After being barred from leaving the Philippines on Tuesday over allegations that he committed fraud when he canceled a concert there last New Year’s Eve, Chris Brown took to Instagram to defend himself. He shared a video last night declaring “I didn’t do nothing!” and dropping to the ground to do the worm. Despite having his plane detained following his Tuesday show, it does appear that the issue has been resolved. Brown’s rep said “It was a misunderstanding that has since been cleared up,” in a statement last night.

Katy Perry took to Twitter on Wednesday to not-so-subtly mock Taylor Swift for her war of words with Nicki Minaj over the VMA nominations. “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman,” Perry wrote. Minaj quickly favorited the tweet. Perry then went on to complain that the “real travesty” was that Rihanna’s “B**ch Better Have My Money” video wasn’t nominated for video of the year. Swift accused Minaj of talking about her on Tuesday when the rapper complained that her “Anaconda” video was snubbed because it doesn’t celebrate “women with very slim bodies.”

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! premiered on SyFy last night and proved to be the most ridiculous, cameo-filled installment yet.
This time around, the flick kicked off with an epic sharknado interrupting an award ceremony for Ian Ziering’s character Fin at the White House, where he teamed up with President Mark Cuban and his machine gun to fend off the flying sharks. After escaping unscathed (of course), Fin made his way to Florida to save his family as the sharknado ran through an Air Force base, NASCAR’s Daytona 500 and it also de-limbed Frankie Muniz’s character in the process. In true Sharknado fashion, the big kicker came when Fin’s estranged father (David Hasselhoff) used a Reagan-era laser beam to save the day and Tara Reid’s pregnant character April gave birth to a healthy baby while inside the body of a shark that had consumed her.
She then used her mini-chainsaw hand to break free, but was hit by a piece of space shuttle wreckage shortly after.

Proving that Kanye West is not the only delusional egomaniac in the music industry, Madonna recently likened herself to the late artist Pablo Picasso.
Madge says “He kept painting and painting until the day he died. Why? Because I guess he felt inspired to do so,” She told the Associated Press “Life inspired him and that’s how I feel.”
The 56-year-old singer also explained why she has comedian Amy Schumer opening for her at her three New York shows – “She’s a role model for women, and I am too,” she explained.
