Cathriona White, the 28-year-old on-again-off-again girlfriend of Jim Carrey, has reportedly committed suicide. According to TMZ, the LAPD found White’s body last night after responding to a call from friends who’d gone to check on her. White allegedly left behind a suicide note addressed to Carrey. The note references their latest breakup, which occurred on September 24; White also tweeted that day, “Signing off Twitter. In a statement, Carrey said of her passing, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”
