Investigation In Highway 17 Fatal Begins

OPP are still investigating a fatal crash that killed a 17-year old and injured two other teenagers.

The three car collision happened on July 30th on Highway 17 near Spanish, where a westbound car crossed the centre line, collided with a vehicle towing a trailer.

The westbound car then hit a tractor trailer.

Three boys from Serpent River First Nation, ages 15, 16 and 17 were taken to hospital with the 17-year old Connor Pelletier Commanda dying from his injuries.

Officers say he was not wearing his seatbelt.
