A YouTube video featuring women in bikinis promoting the Ring of Fire mining development in northern Ontario is causing some controversy

The video, produced by Theresa Longo is called “Mining Minutes” and it was made for KWG Resources’ YouTube channel.

The video shows the women wearing nothing but bikini tops and short-shorts while talking about the Ring of Fire mineral deposits

Company president Frank Smenk told CBC News that “sex sells,” while Marilyn Scales with the Canadian Mining Journal is calling the video ‘misguided’ and “reeks of exploitation”
