Sudbury Male Didn't Need Toobox

Greater Sudbury Police determined the suspicious toolbox found at Tom Davies Square yesterday was owned by a 24-year old Sudbury man.

Police say it was an empty toolbox he left it under the bench because it was of no further use to him.

Tom Davies Square and the provincial building were evacuated as a precaution.

While it did give a scare there was no criminal or malicious intent behind leaving the toolbox.

The investigation is closed.
