On this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Bryan Cranston reprised his Breaking Bad character Walter White during the show’s cold open. The funny moment occurred when Cranston-as-White stopped by The Lead With Jake Tapper to explain why Donald Trump selected him to head the Drug Enforcement Administration. “Donald Trump and I agree. It’s time to make America cook again,” science teacher-turned-meth manufacturer White explained. “We want to fill this nation with red, white and a whole lot of blue.” Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway also appeared in the skit to note, “Walter is amazing, he came highly recommended by Steve Bannon.” The episode was hosted by John Cena and featured musical guest Maren Morris.

According to Fox News, Barbara Walters thinks ABC execs have destroyed “The View”. The report claims that the former host is afraid the show will be remembered for all the wrong reasons (arguments and talent coming and going). First, it was Raven-Symoné and then Candace Cameron Bure.
Sources claim Barbara feels “instead of focusing on smart, educated women with strong talent, they cast uninformed child actors on the show. The legacy has been compromised because of poor casting and bad leadership under ABC News” (Fox News)

Meanwhile, an ABC rep denies the story, saying: “There’s no better producer than Barbara Walters, and we’re always grateful for her notes about the show. The ratings are up, and we’re very proud of the team.”
