Check out the first trailer for Urban Myths, a light-hearted TV movie starring Joseph Fiennes as the late Michael Jackson.

It also stars Stockard Channing as Elizabeth Taylor and Brian Cox as Marlon Brando. The story centres upon a road trip three celebrities took after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The film received some criticism because they chose to cast a white man as Michael Jackson. The main actor, Fiennes once explained how the film is “not a biopic” yet he understood why many fans were “up in arms.” He goes on to say, “The decision with the casting and the producers — I wrangled with it, I was confused and shocked at what might come my way…and I knew the sensitivity, especially to Michael’s fans and to Michael’s family. It doesn’t negate who he was.”
Urban Myths debuts Jan. 19

Ben Affleck opened up about being a “ladies’ man” of sorts on today’s episode of Ellen, heaping praise upon estranged wife Jennifer Garner and pop star Taylor Swift while discussing what it’s like raising his preteen daughter Violet. “I hear a lot about the romantic adventures of Disney characters who are on the Disney channel, and we go to Taylor Swift concerts. And that’s my life,” Affleck said–not that he’s complaining. “Taylor Swift is great, by the way,” he added. “She’s a great role model.” Despite gushing over T-Swift, Affleck found it hard to name three of her songs in a game of “5 Second Rule,” guessing, “Uh… 1989? ‘I Still Love You?’ The John Mayer thing?” As for Garner, he said, “[My kids] have the world’s greatest mom.”

Solange Knowles is on the cover of the latest Interview, and in the magazine she’s interviewed by quite the guest reporter: her sister, Beyonce. In a breezy Q&A, Solange outs herself as a huge Real Housewives of Atlanta fan, saying the show leaves her “in stitches the whole time” and that “it’s so brilliant because it’s the woman that was represented in my childhood in Houston.” Beyonce also razzes her sister for totally freaking out while meeting her idol, Nas, and the siblings agree that their dad reminds them a lot of Master P. (Incidentally, both men contribute guest vocals to Solange’s critically acclaimed album A Seat at the Table.) They’re also both huge fans of the late singer Selena.

You probably thought you picked a pretty good song to dance to at your wedding for your first dance, but it was probably nothing compared to the original ballad Shawn Mendes recently composed and performed for friends at their nuptials. Billboard reports that the song, called “Try My Best,” was based on a love letter the groom once wrote to his bride. Video of the special moment shows Mendes strumming an acoustic guitar while accompanying himself on the romantic tune.
