Nearly 170 people are registered to take part in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk tomorrow night in Sudbury.

The annual walk happens in communities across Canada and is the 5th year for the event in Sudbury.

Executive Director of the Samaritan Centre, Kevin Serviss says the walk helps raise money and awareness for homelessness.

The money goes directly to three local agencies and so far over $45,000 has been raised out of the $50,000

Registration starts at 3 pm at the Rainbow Centre with the walk beginning at 5 pm.
