“It” Trailer: Film Adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 Novel

Bill Skarsgård stars as Pennywise. He says: “It’s such an extreme character. Inhumane…It’s beyond even a sociopath, because he’s not even human. He’s not even a clown. I’m playing just one of the beings It creates.”

The director says: “It” is set in the fictional town of Darry, Maine, where seven kids, known as “The Losers Club,” will have to overcome life problems, including the bullying from other children. The clique also faces the haunting of a monster that takes the shape of an evil clown named Pennywise (played by Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård). 30 years later, they reunite to stop the clown once and for all. The film stars “Stranger Things” actor Finn Wolfhard as a young Richie Tozier.”

“It” is a two-part film series. The first movie will consist of the part of the novel set from 1957 to 1958, referred to as “The Losers Club”, focusing on the kids. The second part focuses on them 30 years later.

Part one opens in theaters September 8. Watch the trailer below.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the new title for the reboot to the original movie with the late Robin Williams.

It follows four high school students who get detention and their punishment is to clean the basement of the school. While they’re down there they find an old-looking video game system. That’s right, folks! No more magical, ancient board game. So the students turn on the game and each of them (the nerd, the jock, the pretty girl, and the quiet girl) picks a character to play as. Once they pick their character, they dive right into action and are sucked into the jungle game. The nerd turns is Dwayne Johnson, the jock is Kevin Hart, the quiet girl is Karen Gillan, and the pretty girl is Jack Black. LOL! Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle hits theatres on Christmas.
