College Boreal and Cambrian College each received over one million dollars for student experience enhancements.

For the 50th anniversary of Ontario’s College System the province made new investments to each of Ontario’s 24 publicly assisted colleges, including 1.5 million to Boreal and 1.8 to Cambrian.

President of Cambrian College, Bill Best says the money will affect students now and into the future.

President of College Boreal, Daniel Giroux says it’s important for colleges to keep innovating.

The money will be used to invest in new technology, equipment and learning spaces.

Canadore College and Northern College each received over 1.5 million dollars as well.
