Laurentian University’s Centre Laurentian University’s Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health unveiled their 40-foot mobile lab called M-CROSH this week.

It’s Canada’s first mobile lab for occupational safety and health research and will be used to bridge gaps to communities often excluded from health and safety research due to their Northern geography.

The lab features a clinic room, meeting area and lab space that will support field research in mental health, quality of worklife, accident prevention with focuses on sleep, fatigue and heat stress.

The mobile lab will take the inaugural Driving Prevention Through Research tour in the Fall.
