On July 20th, a draw will be held in Sudbury to win a 2017 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition or a Silverado 1500 Black Out Edition from Crosstown Chevrolet Buick Cadillac GMC

In case you didn’t know, Terry Ames is a cancer survivor who was told at the age of 36 that there was nothing doctors could do for him and he was palliative.  With three young children at home, Terry set out looking for alternate treatments and after many miles that saw him travel to the U-S, Germany and the Bahamas he finally heard the words “you’re cancer free.”  Friends and family of Terry had set up a golf tournament to help cover some of the costs to travel and after the third Tee It Up For Terry he got the good news but still wanted to help others facing a similar battle.

So they set up the Ames Supportive Care Fund to help other families who needed financial help so that they could focus on beating cancer.  An appropriate quote comes from one of the Fund’s supporters; “His deepest wish was to inspire random acts of kindness. He hoped that if everyone extended a helping hand to someone in need of love or friendship, food, or shelter, a smile or a visit, ours might be a better world. Please, act generously.”
