**UPDATE CAR FOUND*
It’s every teenager’s worst nightmare: having to tell your parents that you lost the car. That scenario became a reality for Gavin Strickland after driving across the Canadian border from Syracuse to Toronto for a Metallica concert.

He says he parked his car somewhere on the first floor of an indoor parking garage and then took a $8 cab ride to the Rogers Centre . After the show, Gavin couldn’t remember where he parked the car. He still can’t find it and he lost it over the weekend!

What makes the situation even worse? Gavin’s dad bought the car for him last year, so he could commute to work and college. The pressure to find the car is ON!

Friends and family have come together to hunt down the elusive blue-green Nissan Versa Sedan that’s sitting somewhere in a parking garage…hopefully. Gavin’s parents Eric and Michele Strickland, posted an ad on Craiglist offering a $100 reward to anyone who can locate the vehicle that their “doofy son” lost.
The ad reads:
“$100 REWARD! – 2015 Blue / Green Nissan Versa Sedan was parked within a $8 cab ride (about 2 miles) of the Rogers Center this past weekend. Our doofy son parked the car in an indoor parking garage, in the first floor (slightly lower / basement level) but that garage cannot now be located…. It is near a Starbucks where there is some construction going on. Also nearby is allegedly a strange spiral outdoor sculpture, and possibly a bank- maybe RBC? The car has US Florida license plates, a small Canadian flag affixed to the door frame, and a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker. A lost / missing vehicle report has been filed with the Toronto police. Please respond with photos of the car and specific location instructions to claim the reward.”
