Members of Laurentian University Faculty Association are on strike and classes have been suspended until further notice.

That includes classes in Sudbury, the McEwen School of Architecture and in Barrie.

The Faculty Association and school had been in negotiations since May and the current contract expired June 30th.

Impasses for the nearly 700 full-time and season staff were on salary increases, workload responsibilities and a pension contribution increase.
