Moose On The Loose

A moose nearly jumped onto a police cruiser as it made it’s way through the Lasalle area over the weekend.

Saturday evening police reported a moose in a pond off Lasalle, it then proceeded into traffic nearly jumping onto the hood of a cruiser before making its way to the Adanac area.

Officers say the moose spent the night and then left the area on Sunday.

There were no injuries reported.

 

Two Arrested In Drug Bust 

A 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman have been charged after a ddrug bust at a home in Sudbury.

The Integrated Crime Unit executed a search warrant on Friday evening, where they found fentanyl powder, cocaine and amphetamine tablets.

The drugs were valued at 73 hundred dollars.

 

Vehicle And Moose Collide

Sudbury fire services had to extricate one person from a vehicle after it hit a moose on Falconbridge Highway.

The collision happened Friday evening and police didn’t release the severity of the injuries.

 

Pedestrian Hit In Lively

A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Main Street in Lively.

The collision happened around 9 pm on Saturday, no charges have been laid at this time.
