Ward 12 councillor Jocelyn Landry-Altman denies being in conflict of interest when she voted to locate the arena/events centre on the Kingsway.

Last week local businessman Andre Dumais said that she was a director of the Sudbury District motorsports association when she cast a ballot and as such should not have voted. Landry-Altman said she left that group in March and has not been affiliated with it ever since.

The veteran councillor also said the vote was to choose a location for the new facility only and did not include a motorsports facility. She feels Mr Dumais should withdraw his conflict of interest charge to the court and publicly apologize to her.
