Since the end of November there have been 27 reported snow-blower thefts in Greater Sudbury and now Police have made an arrest.

Police approached a man who was standing beside a snow-blower on Spruce Street and found out it had been stolen from an unlocked garage.

They later recovered a Craftsman snow-blower but have yet to find the owner.

Sudbury Police arrested a 31-year old in connection with the two stolen machines.

But officers say 17 snow-blowers were reported stolen between Frood Road and Kathleen and the other ten were taken from various parts of the city.
