It could be your favourite restaurant, the apartment building down the street, or perhaps your house featured in Sarah May’s book, Haunted Sudbury:101 True Accounts of the Paranormal.

May is a life-long Sudbury resident who has collected stories leading her to publish her first book.

Including at the Towne House Tavern and the Laughing Buddha which share an adjoining basement which is said to be haunted by “the lady in red.”

One of the more famous sites in the book is the St. Joseph’s Health Centre or Sudbury General Hospital.

Her book launch will be held February 1st from 5:30 to 8 pm at the Hour Glass Restaurant on Cedar Street…the site of one of the stories.

She says the table she will be setting up for herself will be in the spot where the body was found.
