The snow continues to fall today in Greater Sudbury as we’re expecting another 10 cm.

The storm will end by this evening as it moves onto Quebec.

Yesterday in Sudbury we tied a snowfall record at 8 cm.

According to Environment Canada, the snowfall record for today is 19.8 cm set in 2009.

A number of Air Canada, West Jet and Porter flights leaving from the Greater Sudbury airport have been cancelled or delayed so call ahead if you are flying out today.

The city says crews have been out since early this morning plowing, sanding and salting the main roadways.

All areas are getting sidewalk plowing.
