This weekend the KiSS 105.3 Summer Cruiser was out and about all over town!  The first stop was Relay for Life which was held at the sports track at Laurentian University!   Relay for Life is an annual event that is put on by the Northern Cancer Society and is in honor of all survivors and in memory of those who we have all lost to cancer.  We had such a blast making such great memories with an amazing crowd!  The biggest highlights from Relay for Life were the Survivors walk, The Balloon Release, and the Luminary Service.  They were all so heart warming and touching and the connection in the crowd was indescribable.  It gave us all chills!  The entire event was a success and it wouldn’t have been that way without the help of every amazing volunteer who came out to help!  It was such a fantastic night, I seriously can’t wait until next year’s Relay for Life!

On Saturday, we headed over to the Norther Cancer Center to support the Rally for Dad that was taking place in support of the Norther Cancer Foundation!  All of the proceeds from this event went straight into new equipment for treating prostate cancer!  About 220 riders showed their support with their bikes, all of which rode a beautiful scenic, 2 and a half hour adventure all the way to Verner, and then back to the A & W on Marcus Dr.  The turn out was amazing, and the amount of money raised was phenomenal.

On Saturday evening and Sunday morning, we took a drive over to the Grace Hartman Amphitheater and took part in Feast Fest!  There were about 15 different food vendors there, along with numerous vendors with cool natural products to offer!  I tried the Lobster Bacon Mac and Cheese and it was absolutely fantastic!  I also got to try cheese cake in a jar, and a steak poutine.  The food choices were amazing and so was the music!  Tons of different live performances took place all throughtout the weekend, with the headlining band being The Trews, who performed on Saturday night!  There was so much to do at Feast Fest we werebusy the whole time we were there!
