Saskatchewan R-C-M-P have laid multiple charges against the truck driver whose rig collided with a bus carrying members of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team.

Mounties say they’ve arrested 29-year-old Jaskirat Singh Sidhu from Calgary.

RCMP say he was arrested without incident in his Calgary home this morning around 10 am.

He’s charged with 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

The team was on its way to a playoff game on April 6th when the bus and rig got into the deadly accident at a rural intersection.

Sixteen people on the bus died and 13 others were injured.
