ProjectImpact

Coalition for a Livable Sudbury wants to see more positive changes in our community…so they plan on funding small projects to do that, through Project Impact.

Local groups were invited to submit ideas and Saturday from 1-4pm, those 23 different ideas will be presented at the Parkside Centre on Durham Street.

Residents can hear about each idea and then vote on their favourites.

Voting will take place next week at any branch of the Greater Sudbury Library or online www.liveablesudbury.org.

Chair Naomi Grant, says the idea for Project Impact came after several groups approached the Coalition for advice and direction on funding and how to bring their own ideas to fruition.

Submitted projects include community gardens, schoolyard beautification, events and murals.

Winners will be announced March 24th.
