Astronaut Chris Hadfield Records Message For Sudbury Science Class

A Sudbury Science class and its teacher got a special video message from a Canadian astronaut.

While attending a convention with his father, St Benedict Catholic School student, Jacob Burton met Chris Hadfield, the former commander of the International Space Station.

Burton asked for the video message because Grade 9 Science teacher Michael Sipos is a big Hadfield fan.

In his personal video Hadfield says “The things you learn in science class…is like a building block so that later in life you’ll be able to figure something else out.”

During the 35 second message Hadfield encourages the students to continue learning about science.
