It was a scary situation for a lone female, who was allegedly held at knife point by a male on Thursday.

Greater Sudbury Police say the incident happened happened  just before 11 pm, in a lane way between Dell Street and St. Charles Street, off Notre Dame.

The suspect who did not know the female, allegedly approached and grabbed her.

 A brief struggle happened and when the victim broke free the male fled on foot.

The victim suffered no injuries, but police are still searching for the male who is described as 5’8 and in his early 20’s.
