Vandals Damage War Memorial In Coniston

Greater Sudbury Police have been notified after vandals damaged the War Memorial site in Coniston, over the weekend.

On Sunday, a description of the destruction along with pictures, were posted to the Facebook page of the Coniston Historical Group.

Those who look after the memorial site say the granite monument, the reflecting pool and the benches were all damaged.

It’s uncertain how much it will cost to repair.
