Greater Sudbury’s Mayor wants answer in to who is responsible for the poor work at city hall, that led to the loss of over $800,000 in municipal money never recovered from a contractor.

As a follow up to his news conference from Tuesday, Brian Bigger issued a statement last night, stating he’s asked the Interim C-A-O Bob Johnston to investigate the matter further.

Mayor Bigger wants to identify the city staff responsible for misinforming council and the public in regards to the Transit Ticket scandal.

He told reporters earlier this week no forensic audit of the case exists since city staff never came forward with information.

He wants to identify the municipal employees responsible so appropriate action can be taken.

The contractor in question held the contract with the city between 1999 and 2009.
