X Factor judge Simon Cowell says he would be “humbled” to meet Aylan Kurdi’s father Abdullah. The 55-year-old donated £10,000 to the Syrian Refugee Crisis Appeal because he was so deeply moved by the terrifying refugee crisis and Aylan’s chilling death. The TV execs and bosses want Simon to meet Abdullah Kurdi at the Pride of Britain Awards this month. Simon says, “it would be truly humbling to meet Abdullah and learn more of his family’s terrible plight” adding, “when you see the dad’s reaction and you think it could’ve been mine, it breaks your heart. If kids are being put in this position, you have to help.”
