Public High School teachers across Sudbury will find out on Thursday what exactly is in their new three-year deal with the Rainbow District School Board.

The board and local reps with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation worked with a mediator all weekend long.

A new contract was hammered out after several years of labour unrest.

President of OSSTF District 3, James Clyke, says both sides found common ground to work out all local issues.

This local deal does not have to be ratified, however the central agreement for all public high school teachers across Ontario is still tentative and must be voted on.
