An 82-year-old Sudbury woman has been charged in a fatal two-vehicle collision in North Bay.

O-P-P say it happened on December 7th when a westbound vehicle on Highway 17 near Dube Road in East Ferris entered the oncoming lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle.

A passenger in the eastbound vehicle — a 95-year-old woman — was killed.

Helene LaChapelle of Sudbury has been charged with careless driving.
