Adele may have originally reacted to her botched Grammy Awards performance on Monday night by casually tweeting, “S**t happens,” but she admitted on yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she actually took things quite hard. “I cried pretty much all day yesterday,” Adele revealed. “I kept on spontaneously bursting into tears.” She also clarified that the sound went sour after “the microphones fell onto the piano strings,” and that she thought about fixing it herself but “froze.” She also joked, “Some people thought it was Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him…We’re on great terms.”

While on Ellen, Adele also participated in a hilarious prank where she visited a local Jamba Juice while Ellen remained back at the show’s studio and barked orders into her ear via an earpiece. Adele was made to say that in England, they have a juice chain called “Swishy Chug” and also took her own scissors out of her purse to snip some wheatgrass from behind the counter.

Looks like Costas Mandylor has been cast as Captain Silver in Season 5 of ABC’s Once Upon a Time. While details on Mandylor’s role are being kept hush hush, ET “can share that Captain Silver definitely has some rough-watered history with Killian Jones, aka Captain Hook.” ET seems to think that Captain Silver could turn out to be Captain Long John Silver. Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Video has emerged of Kanye West being asked about Tayor Swift as he walked through the Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday. When asked by paparazzi if he thought the singer should show him more respect, he responded with a flat-out “no.” He continued, “It’s like, I want the best for that person, but there’s people going through real issues out here. There’s people out of work. There’s people in debt that can’t make it out of the debt. There’s people that’s in debt that don’t have a shoe. There’s people that are in debt that don’t have a hit album out also–you know what I’m saying?” He added, “I don’t think people care about me or her [Taylor] in that way. People care about their families, their kids. If you like my music, listen to it. If you like her music, listen to it.”

Meanwhile, cops are supposed to help people in need, so maybe that’s why the Philadelphia Police Department reached out to Kanye on Facebook yesterday to offer the allegedly debt-ridden rapper a job as a cop. “We are hiring, @KanyeWest!” the department wrote, alongside a Photoshopped pic of Kanye dressed in a police uniform. “Starting salary of $47,920; you could be debt-free by the year 3122!” The offer comes after Kanye claimed on Twitter this weekend to be $53 million in debt, although it’s believed he was just referring to how much he’s invested in things like his Yeezy collection. On Facebook, Philly PD added, “With a few promotions and cost-of-living increases, Yeezy could probably break even in a quick 500 years.”
