The largest lottery payout in one day was issued to two winners in Ontario….one with a Sudbury connection.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. handed out two prizes today in Toronto totaling $120 million.

John Henry, a grandfather from Mississauga,  won a $60-million jackpot in the Christmas Day Lotto Max draw.

Henry, who is originally from Copper Cliff, calls himself a “good ol’ northern Ontario boy” who never thought he would actually win.

Also Joan Patterson, a rancher from Desboro, Ont., won a $60-million jackpot in the Feb. 5 Lotto Max draw.
