The province is providing close to $1-million in funding for services to help at-risk children and youth.

The funding will help address the root causes of youth violence and help them develop skills to deal with conflict.

Sudbury M-P-P Glenn Thibeault says these agencies will help make a difference.

The four groups sharing the $844,000 are the Child and Family Centre, the Shkagamik-Kew Health Centre, Elizabeth Fry Society and the Sudbury Action Centre for Youth.
