No more putting out three bags of garbage in Sudbury as city council voted to drop it down to two bags for residents beginning in October.

Council rejected recommendations to leave the bag limit at three as they look to transition into a new model of garbage collection which could see one bag per week by 2019.

The move was said to be because of difficulty in getting funds for a new landfill which could cost around 50 million dollars.

Green bin and recycling collection will still be unlimited.
