Prince’s death on April 21 at the age of 57 was caused by a “self-administered” Fetanyl overdose, the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office announced yesterday. AsThe Star Tribune notes, “Fentanyl is a sythetic opioid, similar to morphine (albeit far more potent), that is administered by injection or patch to treat severe pain after surgery and to manage chronic pain.” It’s not clear whether Prince had a prescription for the drug, which is often sold illegally and is popular among addicts. In the days after Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator inside his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota, it was revealed that he likely experienced an overdose when his private plane made an emergency landing in Illinois a week before his death, which at the time had been attributed to the flu. He’d also reportedly been trying to check into a drug treatment program shortly before he died.

The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar says the CBS series may be nearing its end.

The show – which aired its season 9 finale last month — could be facing an imminent end – according to 35 year old Nayyar, who plays astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali.

“Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season ofBig Bang Theory. To be completely honest, I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10. I don’t know what’s going to happen. If it were up to me, personally, I would love to do the show as long as you guys would have us on the air.”

The once third highest-paid TV actor in the world in 2015 also shut down the possibility of a Big Bang Theory feature film. “It is a very difficult format to do for a movie because we shoot in front of a live studio audience with four cameras,” he explained. “So unless the movie was a two-and-a-half hour sitcom version of The Big Bang Theory, I don’t think we could ever actually do a movie. We could do it on stage.”

Nick Jonas has revealed that he regrets the years he spent making music with his brothers as part of the Jonas Brothers. “There were probably some family issues that needed to be sorted out,” Jonas says in the first installment of a new Tidal documentary about the making of his sophomore album. “At some point, I need to be able to look at it with a positive angle.” He went on to say that, “It does suck that my 13-to 20-year-old years come with a lot of regret, almost, in a way.” Jonas’ second solo album Last Year Was Complicated is due out on June 10.

The 7-year-old Japanese boy who went missing after his parents left him in the woods has been found alive. CNN reports that Japan’s Self-Defense Forces personnel found Yamato Tanooka in a building on the premises of the military’s Kamagatame exercise field Friday morning. While the boy was unharmed and spoke coherently, he showed signs of mild dehydration and malnutrition after six days with no food. He also had a light rash on his arms and legs. The boy’s father told authorities on May 28 that his son disappeared while picking wild vegetables with his family. However, he later admitted to leaving him on the side of a road in the woods of Nanae as punishment for throwing stones at passing cars and people.
