Greater Sudbury is one of 45 communities in Ontario taking part in the Healthy Kids Community Challenge.

Phase One began in January and saw over 500 kids take part in swimming, biking and skating activities.

Project Manager Kate Barber says the theme for phase two is…”Water Does Wonders”…encouraging kids to give up drinks containing sugar for water.

A recent study revealed that 42% of kids in Greater Sudbury over the age of 12 are considered in-active.
