More money will be spent on completing capital projects at Laurentian University after the board of governors approved the school’s sixth straight balanced budget.

The operating budget of just over $150-million will help support international accreditation for the Faculty of Management, expand the school of Architecture and enhance gradauate programs as well as L-U’s web prescence and digital strategy.

With projections showing a drop in the 20 to 24-year old population in the next 7-years, the school is adapting the programs it offers to an older group of students while improving it’s focus on retaining those already enrolled.
