Sudbury Police have arrested a 25-year old man, the person believed responsible for a number of graffiti incidents.

It began July 6th when the suspect was seen tagging green transformer boxes in front of several addresses on Paris Street with white paint.

Later that day the same person was seen on Eva Street tagging a concrete garbage bin as well as the base of a sign with black paint.

Police were able to identify the suspect and made an arrest on Monday.

During the arrest police also seized a small amount of marijuana and a knife.

For the graffiti, the man is facing six counts of mischief under $5,000 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon also added on.
