Charges Laid in Valley East Sexual Assault Case

Greater Sudbury Police have made an arrest in connection with two sexual assaults last weekend.

One happened last Friday in Val Therese while the other took place on Sunday afternoon in Hanmer.

In both cases the suspect, who was riding a bicycle, drove up behind two separate women and assaulted them.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division have arrested an 18-year old from the Valley…he’s now facing two sexual assault charges.
