Fire in Downtown Sturgeon Falls

Officials on scene looking for the cause of a massive fire in Sturgeon Falls.

It started last night around 6:15 at Don’s Butcher Shop on King Street and quickly spread to an adjoining building.

West Nipissing Police say 5 businesses and up to 5 apartments were destroyed.

The good news…there were no injuries.

Fire crews remain on the scene making sure there are no flare-ups.

A damage estimate has not yet been released.
