You may want to find another place to swim if you’re looking to beat the heat.

The Ministry of Environment has confirmed that blue-green algae is present in Lake Nepawhin.

Signs have been posted advising the public to avoid swimming, drinking or allowing pets in the water.

Samples were taken from the Laurentian University beach on Monday and test came back positive today.
