More than 20 firefighters were put into action early this morning when a fire call came in for a home in Gatchell.

Crews responded to 523 Tedman where they quickly extinguished a blaze in a single storey bungalow that caused about $200,000 damage.

No one was living in the home at the time.

The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to look for a cause.
