Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers are still talking

For the second time in 24 hours …the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW)  and Canada Post agreed to extend their talks with a mediator for another 24 hour period.

Both parties will continue to negotiate with the assistance of special mediator William Kaplan and the head of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services, Guy Baron.

The current collective agreements will continue to apply for the next 24 hours through to midnight on Tuesday, August 30.
