Over 10 million dollars is coming to Sudbury for improvements of water systems.

More than 1.1 billion dollars was announced for 41 initial projects in the province through the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund.

The federal government will cover 570 million, the province 270 million and municipalities, First Nations and local services boards will cover the rest.

In Sudbury 13 areas will benefit from the 10 million dollars including a new stormwater treatment plant and watermain upgrades to First Avenue in Coniston and York Street.
