Three schools and a daycare will be closed in Espanola today as police investigate a threat against Espanola High School.

Police would not say what the threats were but Chief Steven Edwards says there is no need for the community to panic.

Espanola High School, A.B Ellis Public School and the One Tot Stop Daycare will be closed for the day with no transportation to the schools.

Students at Ecole Secondaire Franco-Ouest will be re-located to Ecole Saint Joseph for the day.

Classes are expected to resume on Tuesday.
