A 56-year old man from Barrie was killed in a single vehicle collision on Highway 69 on Sunday.

Sudbury OPP say it happened around 6 pm in Servos Township, when a southbound pickup truck pulling a boat left the roadway, rolled down a steep rocky embankment and landed on it’s roof.

The driver, Morgan Taylor of Barrie was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 55-year old male passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators have been called in.
