Trevor Noah couldn’t help but get serious on The Daily Show last night as the polls started showing Donald Trump would likely become President of the United States of America

“This is it: the end of the presidential race, and it feels like the end of the world. I’m not going to lie, I don’t know if you’ve come to the right place for jokes tonight, because this the first time throughout this entire race that I’m officially s—ing my pants. I genuinely don’t understand how America can be this disorganized or this hateful — I don’t know which one it is. [Trump] has the KKK voting for him. Like, if ever there was a reason to vote, it’s because on the other side the KKK sees an opportunity to come back into the mainstream. That is the scariest sh*t I have ever come across in my life.”

Many Americans joked about immigrating to Canada amid the chaotic presidential race going on this past year, but it appears that enough of them were serious enough to make Canada’s main immigration and citizenship website crash on election night. Meanwhile, according Google Trends, searches of “How to move to Canada” began surging at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. America’s neighbors in the north appeared somewhat bemused by the situation. In fact, the official Canada Twitter account @Canada tweeted, “In Canada, immigrants are encouraged to bring their cultural traditions with them and share them with their fellow citizens.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly come to a custody agreement regarding their six children. According to E! News, all of the children will remain in Jolie’s custody and will continue to have “therapeutic visits” with Pitt. “We are not in a position to discuss the details,” a Jolie rep said in a statement. “We hope now that it is clear that the events which led to the dissolution filing involved minor children and their well-being, there will be understanding of the sensitivity of the family situation. We believe that all sides are committed to healing the family and ask for your consideration during this difficult time.” Pitt and Jolie were together for 10 years and married for two before Jolie filed for divorce in September. Jolie also accused Pitt of being physically and verbally abusive toward their 15-year-old son Maddox.

Jimmy Kimmel asked Jamie Dornan about rumors that Ian Somerhalder is replacing him in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.  “That would be really hard for them to do, considering we shot both of the movies,” he mused. “That’s an expensive mistake, I’ll put it that way. But good luck to him–he’ll be great!” Dornan, who was on the show promoting The Fall, also admitted that he’s well aware that many of his fans are more interested in his work on Fifty Shades. There’s a sort of energy in the eyes of a Fifty Shades fan that the fans of The Fall just don’t possess. It’s like a hunger, and you can sort of see it and smell it,” he joked “If it’s in a pack, it’s terrifying.” He added that the hunger comes in “every form you could imagine.”
