Science Director at Science North, Jennifer Pink has announced this season will be her last.

She announced this week she will retire on March 31st 2017, after more than three decades at the science centre.

She started in 1984 as Program Planner, holding a number of positions before becoming Science Director in 2008.

Pink helped establish North America’s first and only Science Communication program at Laurentian University and under her direction the centre has created 11 travelling exhibitions.

Science North CEO Guy Labine says they have begun the search for her successor.
